Steps to Success
A joint project is brought to you by collaboration between the Bolshoi Theatre and Swiss bank Credit Suisse: a number of videos will be streamlined on the Bolshoi YouTube channel. Leading soloists of The Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company and The Young Artists Opera Program will try to deduce a formula for success without missing any of the important elements.

Online streaming from the Bolshoi on Mezzo TV Channel
 The Bolshoi Theatre develops a long-term collaboration with French music TV channel Mezzo. One of the new season projects – live online streaming of performances. It was launched on 19 December 2019 with broadcast of opera Boris Godunov. Now we are honored to present premiere of this season – opera Sadko by N. Rimsky-Korsakov staged by Dmitri Tgherniakov (conductor Timur Zangiev) during online broadcast on Mezzo Live HD, which will take place on 18 February at 21:00 pm (MSK). The Bolshoi will also present performances from the so called ‘golden fund’: Boris Godunov (12 – 14) and The Tsar’s Bride (12) during February program list on Mezzo. Every screening precedes by the opening speech of Music Director and Chief Conductor Tugan Sokhiev. 11.12.2018
December 11, 2018 the Bolshoi will conduct a unique broadcast from behind the scenes: one day before the premiere of Il Viaggio a Reims by Rossini we will show how this production is created. Starting at 11 a.m.! 08.07.2016
In addition to its relays in cinemas and on the internet, this summer the Bolshoi is to initiate open air transmissions of its productions. To this purpose, a special screen has been erected on the famous eight-columned façade of the Theatre’s historic Main Stage which will provide all those standing in the square with an unparalleled opportunity of communing with the arts. The only thing that can prevent members of the public from enjoying the show is the rain….
