Our artists have won the Léonide Massine Prize again

Both of them are recipients among other young artists in the category “Best dancers of the year on the International Scene”. Ms. Kovaleva, a representative of Petersburg school, is recognized for her confident mastering of leading parts within the Bolshoi Theatre repertoire. Mr. Belyakov, one of the best artists of the ballet company at the grand theatre, and he is a promising star of todays’ Russian ballet.

The recipient of a consolidated Léonide Massine Prize (Historic Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre is the 'territory' of Benois de la Danse, as it is known) is renowned British dancer and choreographer Sir Anthony Dowell. He was Artistic Director of Royal Ballet, Covent Garden during 1986-2000.
