On 23,24, 25 and 26 November, there will be performances of Alban Berg’s Wozzeck (director and scenographer Dmitri Tcherniakov, conductor Teodor Currentzis) at the Bolshoi Theatre New Stage.The Bolshoi’s most talked about opera premiere of the last season has aroused such worldwide interest that on 26 November 2010 at 1900 hours the MEZZO and MEZZO live HD French TV channels will be relaying a live performance of the production.
The opera is sung in German.
16 million people in Europe and throughout the world will be able to see and hear the Bolshoi Wozzeck live on their television screens.
