About Us

The plaque (author — sculptor N. Sarkisov) was originally unveiled on 4 December 1965. In 1999, when No 4/2 Bolshaya Dmitrovka was reconstructed during the building of the Bolshoi Theatre New Stage, the plaque was taken down and stored in the Theatre warehouses. This year the plaque underwent restoration at the ART-STP Artistic Workshops and returned to its rightful place.
