Ballet Festival In Honor of the 90th Anniversary of Yuri Grigorovich

Maestro Yuri Grigorovich will turn 90 on January 2, 2017. At the beginning of the 21st century repertoire of the Bolshoi ballet includes pieces by John Neumeier and Hans van Manen, Jiri Kilian and Alexei Ratmansky and many other glorious choreographers, but still works created by Mr. Grigorovich make the greater part of it. All of them – original works and versions of the classics – will be running during two months (2 January – 26 February). Bolshoi launches this colossal festival in honor of the maître and his grandiose jubilee.
