Арсений Яковлев

Biography

Born in Moscow into a family of musicians. Enrolled to a foundation course at the vocal faculty of the Tchaikovsky Moscow Conservatory, and then continued his vocal studies at the Academy of Choral Arts under Prof. Dmitry Vdovin. In 2013, Arseny Yakovlev  became his student at the Russian University of Theatrical Arts (GITIS).

In 2012 at the age of 19 he made his debut at the Bolshoi as a Vendor of Pets in Der Rosenkavalier by Richard Strauss, and also took part in concerts of the Young Artist Program at the Bolshoi stage as well as in other concert halls.

In 2013-16 he was an artist of the Young Artist Program of the Bolshoi Theatre.

In 2014, he gave concerts in Bad Kissingen (Germany) and took part in a concert performance of Tchaikovsky`s Iolanta in the castle of Lacoste (France) at a music festival organized by Pierre Cardin.

In 2016, he debuted as Lensky (Tchaikovsky`s Eugene Onegin) at the Sava Center (production of the National Theatre, Belgrade).
