Biography
Xenia Dezhneva graduated from the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music Choral conducting Department in 2001. In 2006 she completed her studies at the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory`s vocal faculty, in 2010 — postgraduate studies (G. Pisarenko`s class). At the Opera Studio of the Conservatory she performed Amur (Orfeo and Euridice by Gluck) and Musetta (La Bohème by Puccini).In 2004, while a student, she debuted at the Tatar Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet (Kazan) as Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart, and then together with the company has toured in Netherlands.
Since 2010, she has been teaching at the Russian Gnesin Academy of Music.
She performs at official events, festivals, anniversary concerts. Took part in cultural programs organized by the Moscow government in London, Beijing, Frankfurt am Main, Nice and Moscow. She performed at international festivals of art "Star" and "Where Art is Born" (organased by charitable foundation of Yuri Rozum).
In 2016 Xenia Dezhneva made her Bolshoi theatre debut as Barbarina in Le Nozze di Figaro by Mozart.
