2016 — Golden Mask National Theatrical Award in the Best Artist’s Work nomination for An O. Henry Christmas by P. Ekstrom.
2017 — Bravo Award in the Best set design in a musical nomination for Bernarda Alba by M. J. LaChiusa (Sverdlovsk State Theatre of Musical Comedy).

Тимофей Рябушинский


Timofei Ryabushinsky graduated from faculty of scenography and theater technology of Moscow Art Theatre School (workshop of Oleg Sheyntsis, classes of A. Kondratiev and V. Shilkrot). His pre-diploma practice was held at the Bolshoi Theatre.
In 2012 he completed his postgraduate at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (GITIS) under the direction of Stanislav Morozov.

Ryabushinsky has designed sets for drama theaters in the Russia and abroad. His productions include Pride and Prejudice by J. Austen (Moscow Art Theatre, 2016); Bernarda Alba by M. J. LaChiusa based on the drama of Federico García Lorca (Sverdlovsk State Theatre of Musical Comedy, 2016), An O. Henry Christmas by P. Ekstrom (Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre, 2014); My Shadow on the play by E. Schwartz (Hermitage Moscow Theater, 2013); Windsor Mockers by W. Shakespeare (Red Torch Theatre, Novosibirsk, 2012); The Lonesome West by M. McDonagh (Theater of Nations, 2011); Shosha by I.B. Singer (Theater of Nations, 2011); Love Letters by A.R. Gurney (Moscow Pushkin Drama Theatre, 2011); Illusions by I. Vyrypaev (Krasnoyarsk Drama Theater named after A. S. Pushkin, 2011); Marriage by N. Gogol (National Theatre of Targu-Mures, Romania, 2011).

He has also designed for Mayakovsky Theatre in People’s Love by D. Bogoslavsky, Diary of a Madman by N. Gogol, Nine of Ten by S. Denisova (2012).

Since 2013 he has worked as a set designer in cinema: Four Women (2013), 79th km and The Mile (2014), Metamorphoziz (2015), Good Boy (2016), Matter (2017).

At the Bolshoi Theatre took part in The Guide to the Orchestra. Le carnival des animaux theatrical concert production (2017).

Timofei Ryabushinsky has collaborated with such directors as Alexei Frandetti, Tufan Imamutdinov, Nikita Kobelev, Alexander Khukhlin, Mikhail Levitin, Yulia Menshova, Anton Kolomeets and others.

Participant of the theatrical-decorative art exhibitions and festivals, among them “Your Chance” festival of the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation (Moscow, 2009-2011); “Russian Shakespeare” (Northern Stage, Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. 2010); “Baltic Seasons” Arts Festival (Kaliningrad, 2011); “Ring Award” (International Competition for Stage Direction and Design, Graz, Austria, 2013), Tbilisi International Biennale of Stage Design 2016, 2018 .
