Awards

She won 2nd prize at Prix de Luxembourg International Ballet Competition (1999) and 2nd prize at the International Ballet Competition in Moscow (2001).
In 2002, she received youth grant Triumph Prize.
In 2004, she was awarded Soul of Dance Prize by Ballet Magazine.


						

Biography

Born in Perm to the family of dancers. In 1989, Yekaterina Shipulina entered the Perm Choreographic College. In 1994, she continued her education at the Moscow College of Choreography (today the Moscow Choreographic Academy). Having graduated in 1998, she joined the Bolshoi Theatre. From 2022 she is working under the contract.
She was training under Marina Kondratieva and Tatiana Golikova. Today her teacher-repetiteur is Nadezhda Gracheva.
