Biography
Was born in Ufa. From 2010 to 2014 he trained at the Bashkir Choreographic College named after Rudolf Nureyev. In 2014 he joined the Moscow State Academy of Choreography and on graduating (2018) entered the corps of the Bolshoi Ballet. While studying Denis Zakharov appeared as Blue Bird in the Bolshoi’s production of The Sleeping Beauty by P. Tchaikovsky (choreography by M. Petipa, Y. Grigorovich version). His teacher-repetiteur at the Bolshoi is Denis Medvedev.
His repertoire during the education period included roles of Colas in La Fille mal gardée by P. Hertel (choreography by Y. Grigorovich); Conrad in Suite Le Jardin Anime from Le Corsaire by A. Adam (choreography by M. Petipa, Y. Burlaka version); second duet in The Variations on a Rococo Theme to music by P. Tchaikovsky (choreography by A. Miroshnichenko).
His concert repertoire included pas de deux from Le Corsaire, Little Count Cherry’s variation from Cipollino by K. Khachaturyan (choreography by G. Mayorov), Jean de Brienne’s variation from Raymonda by A. Glazunov (choreography by M. Petipa), etc.
