Awards

Irina Khruleva is the 1st prize winner of the international singing competition Zolotoye sechenie (Moscow, 2014), finalist of the international singing competition New Opera World (Moscow, 2016), the encouragement award and special prize winner of the Bologna International Singing Competition (Italy, 2018).

						

Biography

Irina Khruleva was born in Moscow. She is an honour graduate of the Moscow Slavic Institute (Solo Singing department, 2013) as well as the Moscow Academy of Choral Art (post-graduate performance course, 2016), where she is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in musical art. In the final year of her studies, being part of the project Institute of the Theatre of the Golden Mask festival she made her debut on the stage of the Novaya Opera theatre in Moscow in the role of Queen of the Night in W.A. Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte (directed by N. Anastasieva-Lainer). 

In 2016-2018 she was a soloist of the Pokrovsky Chamber Opera Theatre in Moscow.
Since September 2018, she has been a soloist of the Chamber Stage of the Bolshoi Theatre.
