Biography

Born in Saratov. In 1996 she graduated from the Lysenko Poltava Musical College as a vocalist. In 2003 she graduated from the Saratov State Conservatoire.

Since 2003 Anna was a soloist with the Saint Petersburg Opera Company where she sang the following roles: Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), the title role in Puccini’s Suor Angelica and Madama Butterfly, Xenia (Boris Godunov).
In 2008-11, she was a soloist with the Mikhaylovsky Theatre Company where her repertoire included Nedda (I Pagliacci), Tatiana (Eugene Onegin), the title role in Dvořák’s Rusalka, Rachel (Halévy’s La Juive).

In 2012, she made her debut at the Bolshoi Theatre, singing the role of Nastasya (The Enchantress). In the same year she became a soloist with the Bolshoi.

Tours

At the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre she sang Liza (The Queen of Spades), Elisabeth (Tannhäuser) and Aida (Aida).
In 2014 she appeared at the Mikhailovsky Theatre as Manon (Manon Lescaut) and debuted at the Latvian National Opera as Leonora (Il Trovatore).
In 2015 she sang Nedda (I Pagliacci) at the Mikhailovsky Theatre, and performed the roles of Francesca (Francesca da Rimini) and Zemfira (Aleko) at the Théâtre de la Monnaie.
In 2016 she performed the title part in Manon Lescaut by Puccini at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin.
In July 2017, she sang the title part in Iolanta (Savonlinna), and Tatiana in Eugene Onegin concert performance on the Bolshoi Theatre Opera Company tour to Aix-en-Profence and Savonlinna (conductor – Tugan Sokhiev).
In 2018, appeared as Polina in Prokofiev’s The Gambler new production of the Opera Vlaanderen, Gent (conductor Dmitri Jurowski, director Karin Henkel).
In 2019 debuted at the Washington National Opera as Tatyana in Eugine Onegin (conductor Robert Trevino, original production by Robert Carsen, director Peter McClintock). Then she performed the part of Liza in The Queen of Spades concert version (Halle aux Grains/ Toulouse, conductor Tugan Sokhiev; Bolshoi Theatre tour). In the same year she appeared as Tatiana (Eugene Onegin) at the Seiji Ozawa Matsumoto Festival in Japan and made house debut at the Teatro San Carlo di Napoli as Lisa in The Queen of Spades.
