Biography

Graduated from the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan (2008). Performed with the Navoi State Opera and Ballet Theatre (Tashkent).

Since 2010 he has been a soloist of the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow academic Music Theatre.
His parts in the productions of the Stanislavsky Opera include: Alfredo (La Traviata), Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Hoffmann (Les Contes d’ Hoffmann), Werther (Werther), Rodolfo (La bohème), Don Jose (Carmen), Don Alvaro (La Forza del Destino), Camille, Count de Rosillon (The Merry Widow), Radamès (Aida), Prince Andrey Khovansky, Prince Vasiliy Golitsin (Khovanshchina), Giasone (Medea), Herman (The Queen of Spades), Števa (Jenůfa). 

Also in repertoire: the Duke (Rigoletto), Nemorino (L’elisir d’amore), Lykov (The Tsar’s Bride), Manrico (Il Trovatore), Nadir (Les pecheurs de perles), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Young Gypsy (Aleko). In concert, he has sung the Tenor Solo in Mozart Requiem, Verdi Requiem, Das Lied von der Erde, Carmina Burana.

In 2013 he debuted at the Vlaamse Opera, Antwerpen as Cavaradossi (Tosca), returning in subsequent seasons as Rodolfo (La bohème), Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra) and Macduff (Macbeth).
In the season 2014/15 he made his debut at the stages of Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Cavaradossi), Mariinsky and Mikhailovsky Theaters (Manrico/ Il Trovatore).

In the season 2015/16 he made his house debut at the Finnish National Opera and Royal Opera House (Cavaradossi) and the Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv (title part in Gounod’s Romeo and Juliet).

Engagements of the season 2016/17 includes the title role in Don Carlo at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein, Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly) at the Israeli Opera as well as returning to Royal Opera House as Manrico (Il Trovatore). Also during the season he debuted as Prince Andrei Khovansky (Khovanshchina) at the Mariinsky Theatre and later has also sung Don Carlo (Don Carlo), Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra), Maurice de Saxe (Adriana Lecouvreur), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Don José (Carmen) and others.

Highlights of the season 2017/18 include his Metropolitan opera debut as Cavaradossi (Tosca), appearances as Radames (Aida) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and the National Theatre of Tokyo, and Cavaradossi (Tosca) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin.
He opens the 2018-19 season with his return to Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Cavaradossi/ Tosca and Turridu/ Cavalleria Rusticana), performed Cavaradossi at the stages of the Israeli Opera and Hungarian State Opera, Budapest.
Recent season engagements include: Radames (Grand Theatre de Geneve) and Macduff (Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg).

Mr. Mavlyanov made his Bolshoi Theatre debut as Alfredo (La Traviata) in 2015. In the same year he took part in the production of Iolanta, singing the role of Vaudemont, in 2016 - in the production of La Damnation de Faust as Faust. His repertoire also includes the roles of Rodolfo (La bohème), Jose (Carmen), Herman (The Queen of Spades), title part (Don Carlo), title part in Sadko new production (conductor Timur Zangiev, director Dmitri Tchernyakov).
