2011 — prize-winner of the “Bravo’ Hope” Special Award for the role of Lauretta in Puccini`s Gianni Schicchi (Ekaterinburg);
prize-winner at the XXXIX Graduated vocalists of Russian Music Universities Review-Competition (Voronezh);

Biography

Born in Nizhny Tagil (Sverdlovsk region). In 2011 she is graduated from The Ural State Mussorgsky Conservatory (class of V. Baeva). While studing at the conservatory she performed the roles of Countess Rosina (W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro), Lauretta (Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi), Dido (Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas).

Since 2011 she has been a soloist at the Ekaterinburg State Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

In 2017 Olga Semenishcheva took part in the Bolshoi Theatre new production of Rimsky-Korsakov’s The Snow Maiden, singing the title role.
