Biography

Born in Argentina, he started the musical experience with the vocal coach Guillermo Romero Ismael. After his arrival in Italy in 2004, he improved his Rossini’s repertoire with William Matteuzzi at Accademia d’Arte Lirica in Osimo, and then at Scuola dell’Opera Italiana (a partnership with Teatro Comunale in Bologna).

He debuted in 2006, at Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro with the Accademia Rossiniana in Il viaggio a Reims under the baton of Alberto Zedda, making the Rossini’s repertoire the most important part of his musical growth.

He then debuted in several Rossini’s roles, among the other: Lindoro L’italiana in Algeri at Teatro Comunale in Piacenza and Modena; Belfiore, Il viaggio a Reims at La Plata; Eacide, Zelmira and Bruschino Jr, Signor Bruschino at Rossini Opera Festival.

In the same years he began his collaboration with Teatro Comunale in Bologna, playing Jaques Offenbach’s Monsieur Choufleuri restera chez lui and Pomme d’api with the roles of Babylas and Gustave, he sings these role also in tour in Jesi, Lugo and at Festival della Valle d’Itria.

From 2011 to 2013 he was a member of the International Opera Studio of Oper Frankfurt, and returned there recently to sing Giannetto in David Alden’s acclaimed production of La Gazza Ladra.
He sang Sir Hervey in Gaetano Donizetti’s Anna Bolena in 2011 at Dresden Semperoper.

He then debuted the role of Ernesto, Don Pasquale at Darmstadt’s Staatstheatre, Intelletto, Emilio De’ Cavalieri’s La Rapresentazione di anima et corpo at Oper Frankfurt, Don Ramiro, La Cenerentola at Dresden Semperoper and Conte Almaviva, Il Barbiere di Siviglia at Staatstheatre in Wiesbaden.

He debuted Dorvil, La scala di Seta in 2014 at National Theatre Mannheim (NTM), then Conte Alberto, L’occasione fa il Ladro at Teatro Verdi in Trieste and Giannetto La Gazza Ladra again at Oper Frankfurt.

His engagements for the 2015-16 season included Ernesto, Don Pasquale in Trento, L’incoronazione di Poppea at Oper Frankfurt, Il Signor Bruschino and La Cambiale di Matrimonio in Venice, La Scala di Seta in Cremona, Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Erl, L’Italiana in Algeri in Treviso, Donna del Lago at Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro, Signor Bruschino in Venice and La Gazza Ladra in Bari.

In April 2016 he made his Handel debut with the Irish Baroque Orchestra, singing the role of Lurcanio in a concert performance of Ariodante.

In winter 2017 he took part in production of L’Italiana in Algeri at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Musical Theatre.

Among his recent engagements La Gazza Ladra (Giannetto, Teatro Petruzelli, Bari), I puritani (Lord Arturo Talbo, Oper Stuttgart), Cosi Fan Tutte (Ferrando, Teatro San Carlo tour in Dubai).
