Biography

Valentin Dytiuk graduated from Tchaikovsky National Musical Academy in Kiev in 2014 and joined the Ukraine National Opera in the same year. In 2015 he debuted as Lensky in Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin.

In 2012 he became the 1st prize winner at the annual Armenian singing competition “Renaissance” and the 2nd prize winner at the Lysenko competition in Kiev. He won the Grand Prize of both XV Glinka International Vocal Competition in Moscow (2015) and International Virgilius Noreika Competition for Singers (2017).

Recently he sang with great success the title role in Gounod’s Faust at the Latvian National Opera, Vaudemont (Tchaikovsky’s Iolanta) at Klaipeda Music Theatre, Verdi’s Requiem at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra in Russia (conducted by Gintaras Rinkevičius).

His repertoire also includes Verdi’s Duca (Rigoletto), Alfredo (La Traviata), Ismaele (Nabucco), Rodolfo (Puccini’s La bohème), Nemorino (Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore), Lensky (Tchaikovsky’s Eugene Onegin), Mozart (Rimsky-Korsakov’s Mozart and Salieri).

In 2017 Valentin Dytiuk made his highly acclaimed debut at Opera de Lyon as Mozart in production of Rymski-Korsakov’s Mozart and Salieri.

In February 2018 he debuted as Riccardo (Gustaf III)  in Verdi’s Un ballo in maschera at Israeli Opera in Tel Aviv (conductor Daniel Oren).
