Ксения Вязникова

Biography

Graduated from the Moscow State Conservatoire.
Worked on probation at the Viennese Musical Academy with professor I.Wamser.

At the Vienna State Opera performed Azucena (Il Trovatore), Cherubino (Le Nozze di Figaro).
In 1998 she made her debut at the Czech national opera in Brno as Carmen and Dalila.
In 2000 took part in the international project of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro as Cherubino, production jointly with the Euro Stage company.
In 2003 with Italian conductor Marko Boemi, and director Denis Krief participated in Verdi’s Nabucco as Fenena.
In 2007 performed Amneris in Dmitri Bertman’s production for Opera de Massy.

In 2003 became the participant of the 1st opera festival Samara spring where she performed Amneris (Aida). Took part in the Sobinov and Chaliapin festivals.

Winner of Schubert Contest (1st Prize), Pechkovsky Contest (2nd Prize), Rimsky-Korsakov Contest (Diploma). Laureate of the programme New name of the Planet.

Since 2003 is a soloist of Helikon Opera Company.

Performed Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro for TV production.

In 2009, she made her Bolshoi Theatre debut as Margret (Berg’s Wozzeck).
