Biography
Graduated from the Tula State Musical College (1990) and the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts (1995, under Prof. Petrov).In 1995, the singer, still a student, joined the Helicon Opera theatre of Moscow, where he performed major baritone parts such as Onegin (Eugene Onegin), Eletsky (The Queen of Spades), Police Chief (The Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk), Amonasro (Aida) and Ford (Falstaff). In
The singer joined the Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow in 2001, where he sang the following parts:

In 2012 made his Bolshoi Theatre debut as Mizgir (The Snow Maiden). In the same year he performed the role of Grigory Gryaznoy (The Tsar’s Bride). In 2013 he sang the title role in Nabucco. In 2016 - the title role in Rigoletto.
