Biography

Fabrizio Paesano was born in Naples in 1985. Fond of singing, he soon began to perform in shows and concerts ranging from sacred music to Neapolitan songs.

In the meantime he has a growing interest in opera and he undertakes the training of music and voice at the Conservatory of Salerno under Marilena Laurenza.

In 2009 he won the competition Luigi Denza in Castellammare di Stabia and in 2010 he made his debut at Teatro Sociale in Como in the role of Elvino in La Sonnambula by Bellini as a finalist suited to the role of the 61st As.Li.Co. Competition. The 2011 season begins with the collaboration with the Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia for L’elisir d’amore (general rehearsal open to the public in lieu of Ramon Vargas) and he continues with the confirmation at Teatro Sociale in Como as Fadinard in the production Il cappello di paglia of Rota as well as at Teatro Chiabrera in Savona, Teatro Fraschini in Pavia and at Teatro Sociale in Rovigo.

Recently he debuted in I Capuleti ed i Montecchi (Tebaldo) in the Regional Lombardo Circuit, Rigoletto (Duca di Mantova) at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari and at Ventidio Basso in Ascoli Piceno, Crispino e la Comare (Contino del Fiore) at Valle d’Itria’s Festival, L’elisir d’amore during the Summer Season of Teatro Verdi in Padova and Falstaff (Fenton) at Teatro Verdi in Sassari and at Teatro Pergolesi in Jesi and, more, he’s back at Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari for the production Il cappello di paglia.

In 2014 he took part in the Bolshoi Theatre production of Rigoletto, singing the role of the Duke (conductor Evelino Pidò, director Robert Carsen).
