Biography

Graduated from at the Komitas State Conservatory of Yerevan (Rafael Akopyants’ class). While still a student, he joined the Spendiarov Armenian State Theatre of Opera and Ballet, where he performed the roles of Giorgio Germont (La Traviata) and Sharpless (Madama Butterfly).
In 2009 he studied in Italy.

Since 2010, he has been a soloist with the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Academic Music Theatre, where he performed the following roles: Figaro (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Belcore (L’Elisir d’Amore), Giorgio Germont (La Traviata), Eletsky (The Queen of Spades), Napoleon (War and Peace), Taddeo (L’italiana in Algeri).

Toured in Spain, France, Great Britain, China, RSA.

In 2015 he made his Bolshoi Theatre debut as Giorgio Germont (La Traviata).
