Biography

In 2001 graduated from the Moscow State Academy Art Lyceum of the Russian Academy of Arts, in 2006 got her diploma at the Russian University of Theatre Arts (GITIS), specialization “Scenic Painting” (Sergey Barkhin’s workshop). Created costumes for the GITIS Student’s Stage productions of Ivan Krylov’s Mail for Spirits (2002), A. Pushkin’s Feast in Time of Plague (2003) and Pushkin. The Fifth Little Tragedy (2004).

Worked as an assistant designer for the production of Handel’s Messiah at the Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris (directed and designed by Oleg Kulik, 2011).

Created costumes for the following productions: E. Podgaits’ Angel and Psychotherapist (2011; as a part of the Open Stage project) at the Pokrovsky Moscow Chamber Musical Theatre; M. Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortilèges (2012) at the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow; Songs at the Well and The Blind Ones by E. Langer and L. Auerbach (2012; as a part of the Laboratory of Modern Opera project) the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre; Stravinsky’s Mavra and Rossini’s La cambiale di matrimonio (2013) at the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre; The Picture of Dorian Gray after O. Wilde (2013) at the M. Yermolova Moscow Drama Theatre; Valtinoni’s Pinocchio (2013) at the Pokrovsky Moscow Chamber Musical Theatre; Sasha Denisova’s Sforza (2014) at the Meyerhold Theatre Centre; I. Kholopov’s Lesson at the Theatre Hangar (2014, as a part of the Open Stage project).

Her works for the cinema include: Wrong Kind of Relations (directed by Dmitry Selivanov, 2008) and The Hunter of Sounds (Russia-Bulgaria-Germany-Macedonia, directed by Petar Oda, 2009).
