Biography

In 1996, graduated from the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatoire and in 1998, finished his assistantship (studied composition under Prof. A. Tchaikovsky). Before entering the Conservatoire, worked as an accompanist in the Buryat Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 2002-2003, worked as an accompanist in the Schnittke Moscow Institute of Music (including collaboration with Lev Kontorovich’s Spiritual Renaissance Choir).

Since 2003, works at the Boshoi Theatre as an accompanist. Was the chief accompanist and concertmaster for the Bolshoi’s productions of Berg’s Wozzeck, Mozart’s Don Giovanni, Tchaikovsky’s The Enchantress, Banevich’s The Story of Kai and Gerda.

Frequently performs concerts together with the Bolshoi Theatre Chamber Orchestra and the Bolshoi opera singers both as a solo pianist and an accompanist. In 2009, he took part in the December Nights Festival at the Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts. In July 2015, took part in the premiere of the ballet The Concert to music by Chopin (choreography by Jerome Robbins) at the Stanislavsky and Nemirovich-Danchenko Moscow Music Theatre as a solo pianist.
