Федор Атаскевич

Biography

Fyodor Ataskevich received his primary music education in the boy choir of the Irkutsk Educational Centre. In 1991, he entered the Irkutsk Regional College for Culture (graduated in 2004). In 1994, he joined the Russian army and served in the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Pacific Fleet. He stayed with the army as a vocalist till 2002. In 2002, he was invited to the Khabarovsk Musical Theatre. He also cooperated with the Khabarovsk Philharmonic Society. In 2004, he graduated from the Irkutsk Regional College. In 2007, he joined the Chelyabinsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.

In 2010, Fyodor Ataskevich joined the Mikhailovsky Opera.

Repertoire includes: Gustavo (Un ballo in maschera), Cavaradossi (Tosca), Turiddu (Cavalleria rusticana), Alfredo (La traviata), Prince (Dargomyzhsky’s Rusalka), Vaudémont (Iolanta), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Lensky (Eugene Onegin), the Young Gypsy (Aleko), Lykov (The Tsar’s Bride), Sinodal (The Demon), Pâris (La Belle Hélène), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Herman (The Queen of Spades), Canio (Pagliacci) , Chevalier des Grieux (Manon Lescaut), Boris (Káťa Kabanová), tenor part in Mozart’s Requiem.

In 2016 he took part in the production of The Stone Guest at the Bolshoi Theatre, singing the role of Don Juan.
