Ernesto Panariello

Biography

Born in Torre Del Greco (province of Naples) and studied singing under Mino Cavallo, Raffaele Passaro and Paolo Silveri. In 1984 joined the Teatro alla Scala Chorus as a bass, in 1987 won a competition to fill the vacancy of the resident baritone soloist. Has collaborated with the best-known conductors of the world, participated in a number of the company’s tours and performed dozens of roles in various languages. Beside his in-house job at the La Scala, he has performed leading roles in other theatres and works a singing coach.
