He is Artistic Director of Theatre O.As a director, his work includes Life Story (Festival Aix), Et c’est ainsi que cet obscur temps s’achève… (Festival Aix), The Secret Agent (Theatre O/Young Vic), The Man Jesus (Lyric Belfast and UK tour), Delirium, Astronaut and The Argument (Theatre O/Barbican), The Bridge (Mimbre), Arsenic and Old Lace (Derby Playhouse), 3 Dark Tales (Theatre O) and Sick Room (co-director, NYT).
As Movement director credits include Miranda (Opéra Comique, Paris) Blue/Orange, Happy Days, The Cherry Orchard and Blackta (Young Vic), How the Whale Became and Clemency (Linbury Studio Theatre, Royal Opera House), Common, Cleansed, Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, Hansel and Gretel, Beauty and the Beast, The Cat in the Hat and A Woman Killed with Kindness (NT), Oil (Almeida), Hamlet (RSC), The Trial of Ubu (Hampstead), Idomeneo (ENO), Pelléas et Mélisande (Aix-en-Provence Festival) and Dancing at Lughnasa (Theatre Clwyd).
