Biography
Trained at the Rimsky-Korsakov Saint Petersburg Conservatory (class by Olga Kondina).Since 2011 he has been a soloist for the Mikhailovsky Theatre where he has sung Lensky (Eugene Onegin), the Novice (Billy Budd), the Steersman (Der fliegende Holländer), Lykov (The Tsar’s Bride), and Nemorino (L’Elisir d’amore). He was nominated for a Golden Mask National Theatre Award for Best Male Singer, Opera (2014) for his role as Lensky in Andriy Zholdak’s production.
In 2014, he made his debut at the Mariinsky, appearing as Lensky in the premiere of a new production of Eugene Onegin.
Since 2015 he has been a member of the Mariinsky Opera and since 2016 – a fellow at Atkins Young Artists Program in Mariinsky.
In October 2018 made his Bolshoi Theatre debut as Ferrando in Così fan tutte.
