Biography

Сompleted his degree in the Painting Department of the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. In addition to designing scenery for Hungarian and foreign theatres, he has designed scenery for television and film productions as well. He has worked on Madama Butterfly, Faust and Gianni Schicchi at the Budapest Opera House. His recent outstanding work was his set and scenery design for The Phantom of the Opera, which was premiered at the Madách Theatre.
He has been awarded the Hungarian Theatre Critics’ Prize and has twice won the Dömötör Prize for the year’s best set, and in 2004 he received the Gundel Prize.
