In 1987, he won the 2nd prize at the International Antonin Dvorak Competition in Czechoslovakia and special award from the Czechoslovak radio for best performance of a vocal cycle by a modern
composer.
Biography
Born in Moscow. In 1987, he graduated from the Tchaikovsky State Conservatoire (Evgeny Nesterenko’s class). In 1988, he joined the Bolshoi Theatre’s group of probationers. Since 1990 he has been a company soloist.Repertoire
