Sergio Escobar is going to perform the title part for the first time in Bolshoi’s production.

A singer of the Young Artists Opera Programme, Daria Brusova (soprano), and a pianist-concertmaster of the YAOP Mark Vaza won 2nd prize at the 56th International Vocal Competition LiedDuo in Hertogenbosch (the Netherlands). Mark Vasa was also awarded the Rudolf Jansen Prize.

Dmitry Ulyanov will appear as Kochubei for the first time in Bolshoi Theatre’s production. His performances will take place on 11, 13 & 15 October.

Dzambolat Dulaev makes his debut in the title part.

Dmitry Chernov makes his first appearance as Papageno.

Alexander Krasnov makes his first appearance as Miller.

Nazhmiddin Mavlyanov will appear as Rudolf for the first time at the Bolshoi. His performances will take place on 20, 22 & 24 September.

Dmitry Golovnin is going to perform the part of Pretender for the first time in Bolshoi’s production. His performances will take place on 13 & 15 September.

Polina Shabunina makes her first appearance as Xenia.
